Novelist Anne Rice has announced that she has quit Christianity, according to the Associated Press. “As I said below, I quit being a Christian. I'm out. In the name of Christ, I refuse to be anti-gay. I refuse to be anti-feminist. I refuse to be anti-artificial birth control,” Rice wrote on her website. But she also says that she is still a follower of Christ. Her publisher confirmed to the AP that she wrote the post. (Associated Press)
