'Bones': Season 6 gets a 'Jersey Shore' episode, possible Situation cameo

Fingers firmly on the pulse of pop culture, the "Bones" team likes to work in a few ripped-from-the-headlines plots every season. Who could forget the high school pregnancy pact episode, Ace Young in the "American Idol" spoof, or last season's ode to "Avatar?" (Well, that last one was more of a 42-minute commercial.)

Needless to say, It's expected that at least once or twice a season that "Bones" aim for the whimsically topical. And their next target? "The Jersey Shore."

"We're trying to get The Situation to play a murder victim," creator Hart Hanson tells EW. "A guido is killed and Booth and Brennan enter that world to find out what happens. We're not sure if it'll happen or not. Talks are ongoing."

He wouldn't be playing himself either. The Situation (aka Mike Sorrentino) is being eyed for the roll of Ritchie "The V" Genero. No, it doesn't sound like a total stretch, but answering to another name should require at least some acting chops.

The script for the October episode is already floating around, and Zap2it hears that Booth's girlfriend, Hannah, appears in it as well, further dampening your hopes for an immediate dismissal in the first few episodes.
