Tennessee election results are here. Tennessee Election Results: Bill Haslam Wins The State Column (blog) Mr. Haslam will now face Democrat Mike McWherter, a West Tennessee businessman with a famous political last name. Mr. Wamp had 27 percent of the vote. On Thursday, the two men went to battle in the polls and Haslam came out the winner when the Tennessee election results were final.

Tennessee Election Results On : Friday, August 06, 2010. In one of the most closely watched Republican primary races so far, GOP candidate Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam has won with 51 percent. The AP called the race with 5 percent of votes. Expect that whoever loses today’s election in Tennessee will be challenging the results in court, as thousands of people were turned away at the polls, The results will be unofficial until they have been certified by the election commissions in each of Tennessee’s 95 counties. Tennessee Democratic Party chairman Chip Forrester says the party may sue over errors in Shelby County. Forrester said voters were turned away from polling stations after election workers loaded early voting lists from May into computer.
