Tennessee election results

Mike Mc Wherter is going to be the next target of Bill Haslam who he is going to be competing for the governor race of Tennessee. The Republican Primary has been won by Bill Haslam where he defeated Ron Ramsey who is the senate speaker, and Zach Wamp. The competition of the primary for the current election status was mainly between Wamp and Haslam. The battle was actually very exciting and quite a lot of attacks were made from both sides.

As everyone knows that casinos are growing in Tennessee and since their legalization there is a lot of pivot point properties held by these casinos. For instance Wamp attacked Haslam before the election, on the point that the Haslam family owns Haslam Pilot Travel Centers where gambling is totally legal. He said that there was an association between commercial interests and the gambling allowed in the areas of their property. This was indeed a big allegation and Haslam had to deny it if he wanted the support of the voters. Apparently Haslam did deny the claim and the allegation that there were ties between the commercial interests of the Haslam family and gambling. He did backfire on the subject as well but that was not as strong an attack as the one Wamp made on Haslam.

In any case the voters didn’t seem too bothered with the allegations and attacks of Wamp on Haslam and supported Haslam making him a winner in this stage of the Tennessee Election Results.
